Want to make some new friends, eat some wonderful food, and laugh a lot? Since 1995 the SFPPTA Book Club has been doing just that. Currently the Book Club meets monthly on Wednesday evenings. We gather in the evening at 7:30 to eat and catch up with each other and the book discussion begins at approximately 8:15. Each month one member volunteers to host the meeting, providing food and beverages for the group. Although we normally choose thematic foods related to the books, the menu can be as simple or as complicated as the hostess is willing or can be a potluck. Hosting a book club meeting is a great opportunity to make you read a book and get to know other members - no one leaves our meetings a stranger!
